DNA Office | 600 Haverford Road, Suite 205
Haverford, PA 19041 Tel: (610) 214-3134
TO BEGIN
We ask you to schedule a free twenty minute initial phone consultation through our online self-booking page. Once you schedule yourself for this intake, one of the DNA clinicians will call you at the scheduled time. This is an opportunity to review your primary concerns with a staff member. Information gathered during this consultation will be shared with our neuropsychologists, who meet and reach out via email with next steps, including scheduling options.
TELEHEALTH INTERVIEW
We will review your presenting concerns and gather more extensive developmental history. This interview will be conducted primarily with parents; however, if possible, we ask that children be present for a quick introduction. We will walk them through the process, answer any questions they may have, and ease any worries. Altogether, these interviews last 45-60 minutes.
AFTER THE INITIAL CONSULTATION
Once the decision is made to move forward with an evaluation, we schedule a telehealth interview and in-person testing session(s). The interview is typically scheduled one week in advance of the in-person evaluation. We will send you an appointment letter with pertinent information, consent forms, questionnaires, and our developmental history form.
IN-PERSON EVALUATION
Next comes the in-person evaluation - depending on the age of your child, the evaluation may take 1-2 days - we try to be flexible and make adjustments that are best for the child.
FEEDBACK
About a month after in-person testing, we schedule a telehealth session where we review the results of the evaluation with your family. Our goal during the feedback session is to ensure your family has a good understanding of how your child thinks and solves problems. In addition to reviewing the evaluation results, we spend a lot of time focusing on recommendations, ensuring each family leaves with a clear roadmap of how to help their child. After feedback, we will send an Evaluation Summary that includes a brief history of presenting concerns, a summary of impressions and recommendations, as well as a score summary table.
Fees & Payment
The cost for a full neuropsychological evaluation is $5,040. The evaluation includes a telehealth interview, record review, in-person testing, scoring, report writing, collateral conversations for evaluation input, and telehealth feedback. School observations can be added, if deemed necessary, for an additional fee. Costs for other types of evaluations can be found in our full fee schedule (link below).
We also offer lower cost evaluations with doctoral level interns. Please inquire during your intake if interested.

While we do not participate in any health insurance programs, we can provide you with an itemized bill that includes appropriate procedure and diagnostic codes for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement after the completion of the evaluation.

Cancellation policy: If your circumstances change and you decide that you do not want to keep your testing appointment, DNA asks that you notify us 48 hours ahead of your scheduled zoom interview. Appointments that are not canceled within this timeframe will be charged $500 to the credit card on file.
